General visa information

The site http://hungary.visahq.com/ has information about who needs to obtain a visa for traveling to Hungary. The site also has information about Hungarian embassies and consulates worldwide. The embassy and consulate websites have helpful information about procedures, timelines, communities served, required documentation, and fees.

Visa application letters from ACM

Visa letters are issued from ACM headquarters for conference attendees in support of their visa applications. Please send your request for a visa application letter to supportletters@acm.org, and include the following:

• Full name as it appears in your passport
• Mailing address
• Name of the conference you wish to attend (WiSec 2013)
• Include your registration confirmation number
• Authors of papers/posters should include the title of their paper/posters
• Speakers should provide the title/topic of their speech
• Fax or email address where the letter can be sent

Additional invitation letters (if needed)

If, besides the visa letter provided by ACM, the Hungarian Consulate or Embassy in your country also requires an invitation letter from a Hungarian organization, then contact the General Chair, Levente Buttyan by e-mail at buttyan@crysys.hu, and include the following information:

• Full name as it appears in your passport
• Your registration confirmation number
• Type of presentation (paper at main conference, paper at workshop, or poster/demo)
• Title of your work (paper at main conference, paper at workshop, or poster/demo)
