Student Travel Grant
Student Travel Grants for ACM CCS 2014
ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security (ACM CCS) encourages graduate students to participate in the conference by partially subsidizing the travel costs up to $1,000 of those who would otherwise be unable to attend the conference/workshops. Travel grants are available both for the conference and CCS Workshops.
Who Should Apply
Support is available for selected students who are US citizens or from US institutions and potentially students from international institutions. The selection process will give preference to ACM CCS 2014 paper authors who are graduate students without sufficient travel funding. Students may not simultaneously draw on other sources of ACM funding for their travel or conference/workshops expenses.
How to Apply
Students should provide:
- Application for travel support
- Current CV
- Letter of support from the student’s research adviser confirming that the student is in good standing. The adviser should include a justification of financial need.
- Personal statement of research from the student explaining the reason for attending the CCS conference/workshops.
Applications and supporting letters for a student travel grant should be emailed as a PDF to the selection committee (ccstravelgrant@gmail.com) including the “application for travel support” .
