• Student Travel Grants

ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security (ACM CCS) encourages graduate students to participate in the conference by partially subsidizing the travel costs up to a maximum of $1,000 for those who would otherwise be unable to attend the conference/workshops. Travel grants are available both for the conference and CCS workshops.

    Who should apply

Support is available for selected students from US institutions and international institutions. The selection process will give preference to ACM CCS 2017 paper authors who are graduate students without sufficient travel funding. Students may not simultaneously draw on other sources of ACM funding for their travel or conference/workshops expenses. Students from underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply.

    How to apply

    Students should provide:

    • Current CV
    • Letter of support from the student’s research adviser confirming that the student is in good standing. The adviser should include a justification of financial need.
    • Personal statement of research from the student explaining the reason for attending the CCS conference/workshops and an estimate of travel expenses.
Applications for a student travel grant should be submitted at goo.gl/YmbHon.
